I would like you to consider applying and/or forward this information to the expert staff members of your organization and to the relevant contacts of your personal and professional network. The course qualifies for the Netherlands Fellowship Program (NFP) for short courses. It is therefore of extra interest for suitable candidates without sponsors but from countries eligible for NFP. Namibia is one of the eligible countries.

The Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, University of Namibia (www.unam.na) is actively involved in teaching and research in the areas of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences. The Department presently has one opening for a one-year Post Doctoral Fellowship. The Department is looking for a researcher with sound background in Analytical Biochemistry and working experience on Aquaculture Recirculating Systems (ARS). Knowledge of the use of Gas Chromatography (GC) and Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) will be an added advantage. The candidate should be willing to work as part of an interdisciplinary team on topics that cover Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences.

The 2010 Exiopol Summer School will take place from the 11th to the 17th of July at the VIU campus on the Island of San Servolo, in Venice, located just in front of St. Mark' Square. The theme of this Summer School is "Environmental accounting: externality valuation and Input-Output tools for policy analysis".
